What's in your kit
Your kit contains: 25 White Playa Blanca Roses (primary focal), 2 bunches White Lisianthus (supporting focal), 1 bunch White Spray Roses (filler), 1 bunch White Alstroemeria (filler), 1 bunch White Waxflower (texture), 1 bunch White Stock (fragrant filler), 2 bunches Seeded Eucalyptus (primary green), 1 bunch Silver Dollar Eucalyptus (accent green), 2 bunches Israeli Ruscus (structure & backdrop).
Before you start — pickup & care
Summer (May–Sep): Pick up Thursday for a Saturday wedding. Winter (Oct–Apr): Pick up Wednesday — cooler temperatures slow flower opening.
Your flowers are pre-hydrated before pickup. When you get home: fill clean buckets with warm water and Floralife flower food. Unwrap, strip foliage below the waterline, place in water. Store in a cool room (55–65°F) — not a household refrigerator. Let flowers rest 1–2 days before arrangement day.
Go straight home after pickup. No errands, no hot car. Heat damages flowers within minutes.
1. Bridal Bouquet
A lush, medium-round hand-tied bouquet. Use the majority of your flowers here — this is the showpiece.
Step 1 — Build your green base. Hold a stem of ruscus loosely in your non-dominant hand. Add seeded eucalyptus and silver dollar eucalyptus, rotating slightly with each stem to build a spiral. Greenery first, always.
Step 2 — Add roses. Place 12–15 Playa Blanca roses evenly through the greenery in groups of 3. Vary heights slightly. Odd numbers (3, 5, 7) always look more natural.
Step 3 — Layer in supporting flowers. Add lisianthus, spray roses, and alstroemeria to fill gaps between roses. These add depth without competing with the focal flowers.
Step 4 — Add fillers last. Tuck waxflower and stock throughout to soften any stiff areas. Stock adds beautiful fragrance — place near the center.
Step 5 — Secure and trim. Wrap stems firmly with a rubber band about 1” from the bottom. Trim all stems at a 45° angle. Return to water immediately. Make on Friday, keep in water overnight, re-cut and mist Saturday morning.
2. Bridesmaid Bouquet
Same palette as the bridal bouquet, about two-thirds the size. Simpler and lighter to carry.
Step 1. Build a smaller green base using ruscus and seeded eucalyptus.
Step 2. Add 8–10 roses, distributed evenly. A tight grouping keeps it compact and easy to carry.
Step 3. Fill with lisianthus and spray roses for white volume without added weight.
Step 4. Rubber band, trim at 45°, return to water until the ceremony.
3 & 4. Boutonnieres (x2)
Simple and classic — one rose with greenery accents. Make these on Friday and refrigerate overnight.
Step 1. Per boutonniere: 1 Playa Blanca rose (partially open), 1–2 small ruscus sprigs, 1 small waxflower or spray rose sprig.
Step 2. Hold the rose, position ruscus behind it, add waxflower to the side. Finished cluster should be about 2–2.5” across.
Step 3. Trim stem cluster to about 1.5” below the flower heads.
Step 4. Pin to lapel horizontally from behind. Hand out at least 2 hours before the ceremony.
Tips for success
Make everything Friday. Saturday morning is for hair, makeup, and enjoying yourself — not flowers.
Greenery first, always. Build your green base before adding a single flower. The greenery creates the shape; flowers fill it.
Odd numbers look natural. Place focal roses in groups of 3, 5, or 7 — never 2 or 4.
Vary your heights. Tallest focal flowers sit highest; supporting flowers slightly shorter; fillers fill the gaps.
Mist before transport. Lightly mist all finished arrangements before loading into the car.
