Ordering & Policies


Everything you need to know about placing an order, pickup and delivery, payment, and our cancellation and change policies.

Placing Your Order

  • Order online through our website. Browse by variety, color, or palette and add items to your cart. Full payment is collected at the time you place your order.
  • Order 2–4 weeks before your event for the best selection. For weddings, ordering early also gives you peace of mind that your varieties are secured.
  • Short notice orders are possible. Contact us at (503) 445-2967 if you need flowers sooner — we can often accommodate orders with very little lead time, though variety selection may be more limited.
  • What happens after you order: We review your order and contact you if there are any availability concerns or quality issues before your pickup date. Otherwise you'll receive a confirmation and your flowers will be ready on the date you selected.

Pickup

  • Pickup location: Broadway Floral — 1638 NE Broadway, Portland, OR 97232
  • Pickup hours: Monday–Friday 10am–4pm  |  Saturday 10am–3pm
  • Bring your own buckets. 5-gallon buckets are recommended for transporting cut flowers. Flowers will be cut and in water awaiting your pickup.
  • Bulk orders will be packaged in grower shipping boxes unless other arrangements have been made in advance.
  • Flowers need conditioning after pickup. See our Conditioning & Hydrating Guide — flowers come straight from growers and need processing before use.

Delivery

  • Local delivery is available in the Portland area for an additional charge.
  • Contact us at (503) 445-2967 or use the Contact Us page to arrange delivery and confirm availability for your date.

Payment

  • Full payment is required when your order is placed. We bring in flowers specifically for each order, so we cannot hold an order without payment.
  • If we have any concerns about availability or quality after reviewing your order, we will contact you to discuss substitutions or adjustments before your pickup date.

Substitutions & Availability

  • Occasionally a variety may not be available or a grower may notify us of a quality concern close to your order date.
  • We will always contact you by phone or email if this happens and work with you on substitutions or alternatives.
  • We strive to fulfill every order exactly as placed — substitutions are a last resort, not standard practice.

Cancellations

  • 18 days or more before your pickup date: Cancel for a full refund, no questions asked.
  • Less than 18 days before your pickup date: We will do our best to cancel your order, but because flowers have already been committed or are in transit, a refund of more than 50% may not be possible.

Order Changes

  • Once your order is confirmed online, changes cannot be made through the website.
  • If you need to add items, place a separate order — we will not charge the low-order fee for add-ons to an existing order.
  • For all other changes (variety swaps, date changes, quantity adjustments), contact us by phone or email as early as possible. We will do our best to accommodate changes but cannot guarantee them close to your pickup date.

Bulk Flowers & Grower Direct

  • Bulk means buying one variety in a full grower box quantity. Because we handle it as a complete unit with minimal sorting, we pass the savings along — up to 25% off standard pricing.
  • Grower minimums apply to some varieties. This is because growers pack flowers in fixed box quantities (e.g., 6 bunches per box), and we cannot split a box below the grower's minimum. If a grower minimum applies, it will be noted on the product listing.
  • Not all flowers are available in bulk. Check the Bulk Flowers section for current offerings.
